Jan H. Tegen

Jan H. Tegen, 65, passed away peacefully in the hospital on Monday, September 20, 2021. He left behind his family, friends and loving wife, Kathleen, of 25 years. Jan was born on November 11, 1955 in Toms River, NJ. He worked hard all of his life and was a proud security officer at Community Medical Center in Toms River.  Jan was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He often bragged about his family and loved spending time with them.  His favorite activity was visiting Atlantic City and playing slot machines with his loving wife.  Even though Jan was taken too soon, he lived an extraordinary life and was surrounded by people that adored him.  He left his mark on this earth and will always be remembered. Services will be private under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home in Bayville.
