Henry M. Jackson Jr.

Henry “Mickey” Jackson, 79, of Beachwood, died on September 7, 2024. Born in Long Branch, he was raised in the Highlands and lived in Ocean Township before moving to Beachwood in 1975. Mr. Jackson was employed by Sears Corporation with over 35 years of service in the automotive division. Retiring as manager from the Toms River location at the Ocean County Mall. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. He loved his high school and kept in touch with Henry Hudson High School alumni classmates of 1964. Mickey was an avid golfer and played many courses up and down the eastern seaboard. He also played basketball in high school and after high school in several baseball leagues. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Alice and by his sister Alice. 

Surviving is his beloved wife of 50 years Bonnie; three sons, David and his wife Jenn, Kevin and his fiancé Rebecca and Henry Michael III; also, he is survived by his four grandchildren, Lexi, Hunter, Leah and Kenzie, and by his nephews Michael and Vincent. 

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Sept. 11th, from 2pm to 5pm, with a Prayer Service at 4:30pm, in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Thursday, the Family will gather at the funeral home by 9:30am before leaving at 10:00am for the burial, with Military Honors, at 11:00am in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
