Helen F. Carr
It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen F. Carr, who departed this world peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the remarkable age of 92.
Tiny in stature but mighty in spirit, Helen was a force of nature, graceful, strong, and endlessly kind. With blue eyes as the summer sky and a heart that held no limit to its warmth, she touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Helen had a fierce sense of loyalty to her family and friends. Her family was her priority.
Born February 7, 1933, in Astoria, NY. Helen resided in Seaford, NY, before moving to Bayville, NJ in 1981. Helen had several businesses with her husband, Jack. Their final business was the Holiday Harbor Motel in Bayville, NJ. Retiring in 2000, she relocated to Whiting, NJ, where she spent the next 25 years and expanded her circle of friends.
Helen is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Jack Carr, and son John Carr.
Helen is survived by her grandsons, Dr. J.C. Carr, DC (Dr. Christy Silk Carr), Kyle Matthews, Kyle Wiggins, and Dante Lorenzini. As well as loving daughters-in-law, Lisa Carr (Brian) and Kim Lorenzini (David). At 91, Helen finally became a great-grandmother to Marley Joy Wiggins and Frankie Rose Carr.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Mastapeter Memorial Home, located at 270 Atlantic City Blvd. (RTE 9), Bayville, NJ 08721. Family and friends are welcome to honor her life, share memories, and say goodbye.
