With deep sorrow and immense love, we remember Hector Velazquez, who passed away on February 10th, 2026.
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Hector later made his home in Toms River, where he built a beautiful life filled with family, friendships, laughter and purpose.
Hector was the definition of loving, generous, and giving. He had a heart that knew no limits- the kind of a man who would truly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. If he could help, he would. If he could give it, he did. His kindness was effortless, and his presence was unforgettable.
He was independent, accomplished, and highly Blessed in both his personal and his professional life. Hector proudly served as an Executive Account Manager at CDW for over a decade. Through dedication, intelligence, and hard work, he achieved so much and earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. He built a career that reflected his drive and determination.
Above all, Hector was a devoted and loving son, brother, uncle and partner. He leaves behind his Grandmother Clotilde Garcia, his loving parents Hector & Ruth Velazquez, his two sisters Zenett and Rachael Velazquez and his two cherished nieces Eladia & Evalise Luciano. He is also deeply mourned by his beloved girlfriend Merissa and her daughter Addison. His family was his pride and his greatest joy.
Hector loved to dance, enjoyed being a true foodie, and had a personality that could light up any room. He was outgoing, funny, and simply special in a way that cannot be replaced. His laughter was contagious, his spirit uplifting, and his love unwavering.
Though his time here feels far too short, the impact Hector made will last forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of generosity, strength, and unconditional love will continue to live on through his family and those whose lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
