Gerard T. Mosiello, 90, of Wall Township died peacefully on January 6, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he lived most of his life in Bergen County, before moving to the Jersey Shore and then lastly settling in Wall Township. Mr. Mosiello was a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive in the Tele-communications Industry for many years, starting his career in 1956 at RCA Global Communications. He retired from General Data Communications in Danbury, CT. Gerard proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was assigned to Paris for two years then honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He was a devoted Yankee fan and was a very athletic person in baseball and golf. He was a devoted family man and loved by all. He will be best remembered by all for his positive attitude, always great advice, sense of humor and overall wit.
Mr. Mosiello was predeceased in 2015 by his devoted wife Connie after 62 years of marriage. Surviving are four children; Diane Bamond and her husband Jeffrey, Debra Delaney and her husband Joseph, Barbara Panico and her husband Tom and Gerard Mosiello, Jr. and his wife Christina; nine grandchildren; Kristin and her husband Scott, Jeffrey Jr. and his wife Donna, James and his wife Kerri, Danielle, Jennifer, Tommy, Tyler, Dina, and Gerard and his wife Alix. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Jackson, Kelsey, Brooklyn, Taylor, JP and Brooks; and his twin brother Americo Mosiello and his sister Phyllis Iovino.
A Memorial Service will be offered for relatives and friends on Friday, January 14th, at 1:30pm in the Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River NJ 08753. Mastapeter Memorial Home of Bayville is in charge of arrangements.
