Georgene "Richardson" Ludlum

Georgene (Richardson) Ludlum 86, of Bayville passed away on Sept 2 , 2022 , surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City, she lived many years in Kearny before moving to Forked River and Bayville. Georgene worked many years as a professional secretary, realtor and homemaker. She was a member of St Barnabas Parish and active in the Rosary Society. She enjoyed many activities such as Red Hats, was involved in her Sonata Bay community,  and participated in golf, bocce, and mahjong. Her Friday night standing dinners were the highlight of her week.

She is survived by her children Dan McAlister (Mary), Dawn McIntyre( Brendan), Judy Rose (Chuck), Mary Jean Maksudian(Greg), and Eugene Ludlum (Wanda). Her grandchildren Kaitlyn (Jake), Megan (Steve), Ian, Jennifer, Laura (Jim), Carolyn (Amy), Michael (Betty), and Steven (Holly) and great grandchildren Stevie, Lane, Tyler, Addison, Payton, Christopher, Jared, Alex, Mason and Lochlan. She is also survived by her brother George Richardson (Janice), sisters Claire Ricciuto, and Bobsey McCann (Bob) and leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Viewing will be Wednesday Sept 7, 2022 from 3-7 at Mastapeter Funeral Home 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville NJ 08721. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday Sept 8th at 11 AM at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to Catholic Charities or St Jude Research Hospital.
