Francis Comiskey Obituary
Francis J. Comiskey, Jr., 81, of Pine Beach passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on June 21, 2018. Born in Orange, NJ, he was raised in Hillside NJ, raised his family in Bridgewater NJ, and later spent his time in Bayville NJ, Pine Beach NJ and Palm City, Fl.
Francis proudly served his country in the US Naval Reserves. He was the Executive Vice-President and CFO of Alco-Gravure Industries, Inc. He was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer Church in Palm City Florida and of Saint Barnabas Church, Bayville, NJ. He was a member of Seton Hall University Alumni, the Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City, Fl. and Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed sports fishing, and was a world traveler.
Francis is predeceased by his beloved wife, Beatrice, in 2011. Surviving are his six children, Francis J. Comiskey and wife, Jackelou, Eugene J. Comiskey and wife, Emelda, Patrick M. Comiskey and wife, Martina, Joseph P. Comiskey and wife, Joy, Edward O. Comiskey and wife, Angela, Ann Smith and husband, Robert; his fourteen grandchildren, Lea, Chelsea, Dan, Felicity, Tara, Kelly, Reilly, Brielle, Myra, Owen, Brianna, Ryan, Julia and Colletta.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 26th, 9:30 am in the funeral home with an 11 am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Manahawkin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations in Francis's memory made to the Coventant House for homeless children at www.coventanthouse.org would be greatly appreciated.
