Fatima Blewitt

Fatima Blewitt, 72, of Bayville passed away on January 15, 2024. Born in Sao Luis, Brazil, immigrated to the United States at the age of 10 living in Edison & Union before settling in Bayville. Fatima was a hair stylist at Betty’s Beauty Shop in Bloomfield, NJ for many years. She enjoyed dining out, vacations, traveling and most of all, the time spent with her family. Fatima was a breast cancer survivor. 

Predeceased by her mother Betty Moreira and son Patrick Blewitt. 

Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Robert Blewitt and 5 children, Michele Blewitt, Marcia Germinario, Chris Blewitt, Sarah Blewitt and Michelle Owens, numerous grandchildren, siblings, Joseph Moreira, and Mary Jane Harrison. 

There will be a viewing on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Meeting at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30am with a funeral mass at 11am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, with a burial immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
