Ernestine E Golembiewski

Ernestine E. Golembiewski passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021 surrounded by her children at her daughter’s house in Edison, NJ. She was 93-years-old. Ernestine was born in NY and moved to NJ. She resided in Newark until she got married and moved to Roselle Park where they raised their family. She happily retired in Brick, NJ. She loved to play all recreational games at her club in Sea View Village, including swimming, Wii Bowling, and Bocce Ball. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with her family and friends. What she loved the most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She would never go to sleep without saying “Goodnight and God Bless You.” to all that she loved. 
 
She was predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Margaret Palmieri, her sister Emily Zigarelli and husband Michael Zigarelli, sister Carmella Mazzeo and husband Michael Mazzeo, her brother Aniello Palmieri and wife Carmella Palmieri, sister-in-law Angelina Palmieri as well as her husband Joseph Golembiewski. 
 
Surviving are her son Robert Golembiewski and wife Patricia, Daughters Alice McEvoy and Carol Mailler, grandchildren Kimberly Solis, Joseph McEvoy and girlfriend Serena, Robert Golembiewski and wife Cherrie, Kelly Longberg and husband James, Lisa Sarro and husband Joseph, Charles Golembiewski and wife Lisa, James McEvoy, Kevin Conte and girlfriend Megan, and Paul Mailler and fiancé Brittany as well as her many great-grandchildren Shawn, Bianca, Brielle, Paige, Isabella, Jayden, Tyler, Joseph, Mason, Anthony,  Vincent, Aaron, Lanah, Rain and Lucas and one on the way. In addition, her brother, Joseph Palmieri, sister Marge Winter, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Bracken. 
 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, located at 541 Washington Ave., Kenilworth, NJ 07033. Following the funeral mass, Ernestine will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Rd., Kenilworth, NJ. Condolences can be sent to www.mastapetermemorialhome.com.
