Ernest L Viespoli

Ernest L. Viespoli, 85, of Whiting, died on May 21, 2022, with his loving family at his bedside. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Irvington, then in Bayville for 30 years before moving to Whiting 5 years ago. Ernie was the General Manager at Schwartz Mazda dealership in Shrewsbury for many years before retiring 10 years ago. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a devoted Yankee fan. Ernie was a joy to be with because he loved life just as much as he loved his family. He had been predeceased by his loving wife Virginia, his cherished grandson Louis and by his brother Anthony.

Surviving are his two children, his daughter Gina Viespoli and her fiance Billy Heenan, and his son Vincent Viespoli and his wife M.E.; six grandchildren and a great grandson.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 25th, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, with a Prayer Service at 7pm, in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ. 08721.

Entombment will be Thursday, beginning 9am at the funeral home then leaving at 10am for Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery in Union.
