Elizabeth J. Weed

Elizabeth (Betty) Weed, 89, of Beachwood passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024. She was born and raised in Newark and then lived many years in Kenilworth before moving to Colonia and then to Beachwood in 2002. Betty then had been employed for many years with New Jersey Bell (National Telephone Directory), responsible for placement of ads in the yellow pages and registry of the white pages in the old phone books. She and her husband enjoyed extensive traveling, especially to Florida and loved her trips to AC.  

Surviving is her beloved and devoted husband of 61 years Norman. She is also survived by her brother Richard Muttie and his wife Dolores, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

Vising hours will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ, Funeral Monday December 30 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home before leaving to celebrate a 12:00pm Funeral Mass at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, 08757. Burial will be Tuesday, 8:30 am at the Funeral Home before leaving for the burial at 10:30am in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
