Obituary
Edward G. Costanzo, 92, of Beachwood passed away on February 28, 2023. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he lived many years in Bayville before settling in Beachwood. Ed proudly served his country in The United States Army, he was stationed in Germany as a medic during the Korean War. He graduated from Seton Hall University and obtained a master’s degree. Ed was employed as a teacher at Central Regional High School in Bayville. He was past commander of the Bayville VFW Post# 9503. Ed was a devoted teacher who was adored by his students, family, and his friends.
Edward is predeceased by his four brothers, John, Peter, Joseph and Frank Costanzo. Surviving are his beloved wife of 68 years, Marie Costanzo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
There will be a viewing for Edward on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 4pm-7pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd Bayville, NJ 08721 Funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 7th beginning with a Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, NJ 08721 at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
