Doris E. VanHecke

Doris E. VanHecke, 94, passed away at her home on April 13, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 11, 1926 in New York City. 

Doris was raised in Bergan County, NJ where she lived most of her life. She worked for Inmont Ink Company in Lodi and also spent her time as a volunteer aide for young children in school. Doris loved to sing at piano bars and her local church. She was also a mother to three children, Richard, Theodore, and Theodora who she raised. 

Doris is predeceased by her husband Charles, parents Benjamin and Dorothy Ramagli, sister Margie, and her son Richard. She is survived by her son Theodore Tucci, daughter Theodora Tucci, grandchildren, Anthony, Marcy, Mathew, and Ted Jr., great-grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Anthony Jr., Evan, Leah, and Andrew.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April, 17, 2021 from 2-5pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral mass will take place at 9:30am on Monday, April 18, 2021 at St. Barnabas, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Interment will follow after the mass to George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Condolences can be sent to www.mastapetermemorialhome.com.
