Donna Marie McCue, 76, of Whiting, died peacefully and suddenly on May 15, 2026. Born and raised in West New York, she lived in Ridgefield Park, moved to Lakehurst, and then to Bayville, before settling in Whiting 20 years ago. Mrs. McCue was a devoted homemaker and was incredibly involved in the education of her children and the raising of her grandchildren. She was an advocate for the importance of education and instilled these values in her grandchildren. She was a past President of the Lakehurst Parent Teachers’ Association and helped the association develop strong relationships with the teachers and school administration. Donna was also a devoted Yankee and Giants fan watching as many games as she could.

Mrs. McCue was predeceased by her devoted husband Thomas in 2012. Surviving are her three children; Dr. Scott McCue and his wife, Kate, Tim McCue, Jason McCue, and his wife Sandra, as well as nine grandchildren, Thomas McCue and his wife Becca, Tyler, Theo, Torrin, Trevor, Isabella, Jason Jr., Austin, and Sage; and one great granddaughter, Quinn.

Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be offered on Wednesday, May 20th, from 5pm to 8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (stjude.org) would be appreciated.
