Donna Lea Heicklen

Donna Lea Heicklen passed away peacefully in her home on July 29, 2021 in Bayville, NJ. She was born in Big Spring, TX in 1951 and moved to New Jersey.  Donna was a long time resident of Medford, NJ before moving to Bayville, NJ.

Donna loved cooking, collecting sea glass, celebrating holidays with family and friends, and caring for everyone around her.  She was always found on the sidelines cheering on her children and grandchildren at all their sporting events. Donna was a community fixture in Medford for years and was loved by many.

Surviving Donna is her long time companion Joe Semiraro and his children. She was a devoted mother of Lisa Mistretta and her husband Jim, Steve Heicklen  and his wife Jen, Paula Reed and her husband Eric, Casey Reed, and Jenni Rizzo and her husband Jeff.  Donna was a beloved grandmother to Paul, Ally, Joey, Mackenzie, Anna, Colin, Jalyn, Kylie, Gabby, Sophia, Ava, Jake, Vinny, and Jiana,  and great-grandmother to Addison, dear sister to Ken Hines, Jr. and Rod Hines. She is also survived by her nieces Stephanie, Jamie, Kerri, and Meagan.  

There will be an open house celebration of life on Friday, August 20th from 3pm to 10pm at 51 Sunrise Ct.  Medford, NJ 08055.  All are welcome to attend. Condolences can be sent to www.mastapetermemorialhome.com.
