Denise Guaschino Oliver

Denise Guashino Oliver, 72 of Bayville passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on April 12, 2024. She was born in Jersey City and resided in the Toms River area before settling in Bayville in 1968. Denise was a cafeteria worker/cook for both Central Regional School systems before retiring and helping with her husband’s family business, Richard Oliver Electric. Denise was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and guh-gah (grandmother). She was a great friend to many and loved by all. She enjoyed doing crafts and going to the beach. She loved hosting Holidays at her home with her family, especially Christmas and 4th of July. 

Denise is survived by her husband of 55 years Rich; her two children, Richard Oliver Jr, Tracy Materiale and her husband Tom; her grandson, Thomas Materiale; her sister Caroline Taylor, her brothers; Fritz Guaschino, Patrick Guaschino and his wife Cindy. She has also survived many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

Visitation hours will be Wednesday April 17th from 4pm to 7pm, with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, NJ 08721. Her funeral will be held Thursday, 9:30am at the funeral home then leaving at 10:30am to the burial site at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd. Toms River, NJ 08753.
