Dante A. Paolercio Jr., 84, of Bayville, NJ passed away suddenly on November 5, 2025. Born and raised in Newark, NJ and lived many years in West Orange then to Pine Beach before retiring to Lacey Township in 1992. Mr. Paolercio was a licensed Professional Funeral Director who once owned and operated Paolercio Funeral Home in West Orange, NJ, in the 70’s and 80’s. He then worked for various Funeral Homes. He also was a salesman for Lakewood Toyota for 20 years before fully retiring. He also served his country in the Army National Guard stationed at Fort Dix.
He was predeceased by his devoted wife Arleene in 2001. Surviving are his three children, Dante Paolercio III, Kimberly Calascibetta and her husband Joe and Joseph Paolercio and his wife Barbara, five grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, Dominick, Jacqueline, and Jordan, three step grandchildren, Skyla, Tyeloni, and Richard, three siblings, Frank Paolercio Sr. and his wife Barbara, and his twin sisters Josephine Truszkowski and Bridget Vicchiariello and her husband Jack, also surviving one great granddaughter Scarlett and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:00-4:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral Monday November 17, 2025, at 9:00am at the Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 10:00am, Burial will follow at 11:30am to Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd., Toms River with Military Honors.
