Daniel F. Dobrzelecki

Daniel F. Dobrzelecki, 78, of Bayville, N.J. passed away on February 26, 2026/  Born in Newark, N.J. and lived over 40 years in Bayville.

Mr. Dobrzelecki proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War.  He then served the city of Newark, N.J. for 26 years as a Firefighter.

Dan was an avid gardener who gladly shared his many vegetables and flowers with family and friends.  He also enjoyed model ship building and collecting American Flyer model trains.

He was predeceased by his mother, Helen (Zatorski) and father; Felix, brother Ronald, sister Lorraine Buehler and her husband, William (Bill), brothers in-law, Michael (Stretch) Krug and Edward Konopka.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 52 years, Patricia (Konopka).  He was a proud father of son, Daniel and his fiance' Justine Garafalo; Jennifer, Karen Conklin and her husband, RIchard. He was also a great "Pop" to his grandson Damian Conklin.

Other surviving family members include brother, Michael (Corliss), sisters in-law, Linda Krug, Anna Marusiak (Frank), Helen Konopka, Grace Dobrzelecki and brother in-law Richard Konopka (Lisa), many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Dan will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Visitation for family and friend will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 4:00-8:00pm.at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ. Funeral Service, Wednesday March 4, 2026 9:30-10:30am at the Funeral Home, then to celebrate an 11:00am Mass at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Ave., Bayville. The Burial will be 1:00pm at St. Josephs Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd., Toms River with full Military Honors.
