Christine M Carway

Christine Foley-Carway passed away quietly in her home with her family after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Queens NY she then grew up in Bronx NY. Christine married the love of her life James Joseph Carway in October 1954, they moved to North Babylon NY,
before relocating to Succasunna in Morris County NJ where they continued to raise their five children, & then retired to Sonata Bay Bayville NJ in 1992.

Christine was an avid fan of game playing, she enjoyed competing in bowling, bridge, & Mah Jongg. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, & traveling. She also took joy in the many social activities offered at Sonata Bay.

Christine is survived by her adoring husband Jim of 66 years, five loving children Karen Meehan & her husband Chuck, Jeanne Morsch, James Jr. Carway, Marianne Knott (John Williams), & Elizabeth Cangiano & her husband Andrew. Eight beautiful grand children, Ian Morsch & his wife Ako, Miranda Morsch & husband Matt Frink, Austin & Ross Meehan, Jillian & Robert Knott, & Andrew & Aidyn Cangiano. And lastly two great-grandchildren Anika & Niki Morsch.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1pm to 4pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Monday, June 7, 2021 at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Burial will be private for the immediate family at B.G.W.C.D. NJ Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's memory to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
