Christina (Tina) Citarella, 40, of Bayville. Passed away on December 23, 2022, from a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Secaucus and raised in North Bergen. She later moved to Bayville where she attended Central Regional High School and graduated in June of 2000. She attended Ocean County College. Tina also graduated from Barbizon School of modeling.
Tina was very family oriented. Her family was everything to her. She loved her parents, sister and brothers. Most importantly her niece and nephews. Tina loved going on vacation with her family and exploring new places, always being the life of the party. Dancing and singing no matter if you thought she sounded good or not. She did not care what anyone thought. She brightened up every place she went. You were God’s Angel on earth, now you are God’s Angel in heaven. Until we sing and dance again we will be forever missing you my love. You were one of a kind.
Tina was the owner and operator of Aces Auto Repairs in Bayville, (at the former Beachwood Shopping Center) having built her own successful business through her commitment to helping other people. She loved being a small business owner. She could run circles around a lot of people with the amount of knowledge that she had when it came to cars. When a customer came into her shop with a problem with their car, she would take the time to listen to them and try to reassure them that she would do all that she could to help them.
Tina was a vivacious uplifting person who would spread joy and happiness to the seniors when they gathered at the Clarion in Toms River to sing and dance. She loved being with them. They would invite her to all their social events. Tina called them “family”.
Tina is predeceased by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Surviving are Tina’s parents Alan and Sandie Citarella; four siblings Alan and his wife Silvia, Joseph and his wife Jessenia, Lisa and Tyler; a niece Kaylee and her two nephews Aiden and Ezra as well as several cousins.
