Obituary
Charles Russell, 86, of Pine Beach, NJ passed away on April 24, 2022 at home. Born on June 15, 1931, in Jersey City where he was a resident until moving to Pine Beach. Charles was in the United States Army where he proudly served as a Medic during the Korean War and received many medals. Charles also was a Firefighter for the Lakehurst Naval Base for many years, a member of the Bayville V.F.W. and a past member of the Bayville Elks.
Charles is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Russell and his son Robert Russell. Surviving are his children Kathy Campbell and her husband David, Carol Woermer, Charles Russell and his wife Sue and Elizabeth Russell; his grandchildren Melissa Morrison and Patrick Gribbin; his step grandchildren; great grandchildren Asia Hess, Niyah Hodges, Patrick and Vincent Gribbon; his step great grandchildren, his brother Wesley Russell and his wife Brenda and by his many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all.
Viewing will be Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Burial will immediately follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown at 1:00pm.
