In loving memory of Carol Goldberg:
Carol Goldberg, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away today, August 5, 2023. She will forever be remembered for her warm heart, laughter and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Carol found joy in playing mahjong, a passion she shared with her loved ones, creating cherished memories around the table.
Survived by her loving family, Carol Goldberg leaves behind her husband of 63 years Allan Goldberg, who shared a lifetime of love and companionship with her. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Rick Kaplan, with whom she shared a special bond throughout the years.
Carol's legacy of love and care extends to her two daughters and son in law, Marni and Jeff Zito and Jodi Goldberg, who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her grandson, Colton, was a source of great joy and pride to her, and she leaves behind wonderful memories full of love and laughter.
As the family gathers to bid farewell on Monday at the graveside burial, they find solace in the knowledge that Carol's love will forever unite them, even in her absence. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on through the memories they shared together.
The burial will take place on Monday, August 7th, at 10am at Washington Cemetery in North Brunswick, with a simple graveside service to bid farewell to Carol. Her life, filled with love and laughter, will be celebrated by those who knew her best.
In honor of Carol’s compassionate nature and her commitment to making a difference, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to https://www.amib.net/ AMIB a nonprofit organization assisting developmentally disabled individuals to live on their own. This gesture will continue her legacy of caring for others and supporting those in need.
May Carol Goldberg’s soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and love.
