Barbara Jean Otero, 69, of Bayville passed away on June 15, 2024. She was born in Orange, NJ. She moved to Lanoka Harbor in the early 90’s.
Mrs. Otero was a homemaker for 14 years and a CNA for many years, and most recently she was a teacher's aide at an elementary school.
Mrs. Otero was a loving wife and mother and very family oriented. She loved all her family. She cared for everyone and touched the hearts of so many. She loved the beach, animals and nature. She was so full of life.
She is predeceased by her father Harry McGreevy Sr, mother Anna Leuchs, her first husband Anthony Mennicucci, two sisters Lorraine Becker and Lois Tirone. Survived by her husband John Michael Otero, brother Harry McGreevy, three sons and a daughter, Anthony Jr, Michael, Edward and Barbara and six grandchildren, James, Maria, Cameron, Joseph, Harper and Halo.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00-12:00pm and a service at 11:00am at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721.
