Antonio A. Caprara, 26, of Beachwood passed away on September 8, 2024 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Antonio was born on June 12th,1998 in Toms River, raised in Beachwood, and graduated from Toms River High School South in 2017. After graduating, Antonio became an SLEO 1 "class one" with Seaside Park Police Dept. He continued his career by becoming a 2022 graduate of the Ocean County Police Academy in Lakewood before moving on to the South Toms River Police Dept. Antonio was an avid soccer player with the Toms River FC Jets, was a lifelong gamer, had an extensive Lego collection, and was a regular at his local gyms.
Antonio is survived by his loving parents: Michael and Caterina Caprara, his two siblings: Michael (Alisha) and Giuliana Caprara, his many uncles and aunts: Frank (Donna), Laura (Pasquale), Ignazio, Pasquale, and Piero Costa, his cousins: Frank Costa, Domenica (Antonio) and Guiseppe (Domenica) Barbalace, and Nicholas Costa, as well as his beloved dog Perse.
Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be offered on Sunday, Sept. 15th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, held at the Mastapeter Memorial Home (270 Atlantic City Blvd Bayville, NJ 08721). A Funeral Mass Monday, Sept. 16th, kindly meet at St. Barnabas Church (33 Woodland Rd Bayville, NJ 08721) to celebrate an 11:00am Mass, burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery (62 Cedar Grove Rd Toms River, NJ 08753). In lieu of flowers, donations made in Antonio’s memory to the NJSPBA Survivor and Welfare Fund would be greatly appreciated.
