Anthony Freda

Antonio “Anthony” Freda, 83, of Bayville, died peacefully on August 8, 2022, at his home with his loving family at his bedside. Born in New Lebanon, NY, he lived in Kendall Park prior to moving to Bayville in 1992. Mr. Freda was a Purchasing Agent for Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for 30 years. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a 26-year member of the New Jersey Army National Guard. He also was a member of the South Brunswick Recreation Board for 10 years and served an additional 6 years as Chairman. Anthony had been predeceased by his beloved wife Mary in 2016, and by his loving son Danny in 2001.

Surviving are, his son David Freda, his granddaughter Rachel Gille and her husband Don, his grandchildren, William, Harley and Magnolia, also his nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, Aug. 12th, from 6pm to 8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm, in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville NJ 08721. Entombment will follow on Saturday to Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, leaving the funeral home at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory to; St. Jude Children’s Hospital (stjude.org), would be appreciated.
