Anna Kenny

Anna P. Kenny, 91, of Bayville passed away on September 10, 2023. Born and raised in New York City, she raised her family in Brooklyn before moving to Ocean Gate where she started summering in 1978 and has lived in Bayville for the past 20 years. She worked as a waitress in Queens for many years. Anna enjoyed Facebook, cooking, trips to A.C., she had a green thumb and enjoyed collecting many family photos. She especially enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anna was the last of her 12 siblings and was predeceased by her four children, Paul, Joan, Kevin, Maureen, and her former husband Paul.

Surviving are her three children, Dennis and wife Kathleen, Raymond and his partner Donald, and Jean rose Giannone and husband Tom, also her two daughters-in-law, Kathy Kenny, Maryann Kenny, and son in-law Robert Higgins. Along with 19 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1pm-5pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral mass will be on Monday at 11am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville with a burial immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association , 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas TX 75231.
