Angelica Dobbin, 80, of Bayville, NJ died at home on October 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving children.
Born in Newark, NJ she moved to Clark in 1955 before moving to Bayville in 2004.
Angelica was a 1962 graduate of Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School in Clark, NJ and then was a secretary at Bell Labs in Murray Hill where she met Don, the love of her life. They married in 1966 and then she stayed home to raise their four children. After their children were grown she was secretary for St. Elizabeth's School in Linden, NJ until her retirement in 2004.
She was a member of the Rosary Society of the Blessed Mother at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville.
Angelica loved traveling with her late husband Don. Her favorites were trips to Cape May, Atlantic City and cruises to Bermuda. She loved the beach, spending time over the years in Seaside Park and Ocean City, NJ.
Angelica loved time in the sun and spending time in her pool and boat. She loved a good Words with Friends challenge and enjoyed her never ending candy crush game. She looked forward to her ladies luncheons and always enjoyed a good Mahjong game either in person or online.
Angelica loved spending time with her family. She was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2021 and her parents Michael and Antoinette (Roccia) Caterino. She was also predeceased by her brother Charles who died a day after birth.
Surviving is her daughter Theresa from Clark, son Donald (Christina) Tinton Falls, daughter Kathleen (Donald) Tinton Falls, and daughter Melissa (Erik) of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. Also surviving are her granddaughters Alexandria, Samantha, Jordan and her grandson, Cooper. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and great friends and neighbors.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday October 9, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm, then again on Friday from 9:30-10:30am at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 11:00am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville. Burial will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
