Alberta A. Kane

Alberta A. Kane, 89, of Bayville, died on January 27, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY. Alberta started her career on Wall St then moved to Long Island to become a wife and mother. She bought her family’s summer home in Tannersville, NY in the mid 70’s and then converted it into a year-round bed and breakfast while also being the office manager for Cortina Valley Ski Resort in Haines Falls, NY. She semi-retired and moved to Toms River to be closer to her family.  

Mrs. Kane is predeceased by her husband Chester in 2004 and her siblings, Rose Adelizzi and her husband Carmen, Angela Mancino, Ann Alletto, Mike Abatemarco and his wife Beatrice, and also Peter Abatemarco. Surviving are her son’s John Kane and wife Christine and their daughter Brooke and Mike Kane and his children, Ryan and Michael Anthony and his wife Cathy, and great granddaughters Evangeline and Maxine, and Brother-in-law Domenic Mancino and many nieces and nephews.  

A viewing for friends and family will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:00-10:30am at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721, followed by a burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd., Bayville, NJ 08753.
