Alan Citarella

Alan Citarella 69 of Bayville, passed away on February 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jersey City and grew up in Fort Lee before moving to Bayville. 

He started off working as a security guard at the Greenhouse in Cliffside Park before interviewing for a towing job at ABC Towing as a driver and mechanic. He later became partners with his boss Lou Monico. They were so much more than partners. They were best friends and family to us.  In later years Alan had moved his family down to Bayville where he and his daughter Tina started a repair shop known as Aces Auto. He was all about family and helping other people. He was always there for everyone. He loved his vacations with his family.  

He was predeceased by his daughter Tina, his parents Mary and Joseph Citarella, Sr. and his brother Joseph Citarella, Jr. 

He is survived by his wife Sandie. His four children. Alan and his wife Silvia, Joseph and his wife Jessie, Lisa and Tyler. His Granddaughter Kaylee, Grandsons Aiden and Ezra as well as several nieces and nephews. 

There will be a celebration of life at Mastapeter Memorial Home 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 from 2pm – 5pm on Saturday March 1, 2025.
