Richard Solari, 69, of Bayville, died on April 24, 2020 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Bayville most all his life. Mr. Solari was a technician and transporter of propane supplies and was employed with Suburban Propane in Howell. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid gardener and a gifted handyman that could fix anything. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Hazel and by his brother Steven who died in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife Gina; his 2 sons, Bryan Solari and Christopher Solari and his daughter Jennifer Trainor; his 3 stepsons; David Warren, Michael Warren and Robert Warren; 7 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lacie, Gracie, Jadin, Jacob, Julia and Christian. Also surviving are his great granddaughter Alice and 2 brothers, Raymond Solari and Reynold Solari. And many more loving extended family and friends.

They will be a private burial service with the family under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, Bayville. In lieu of flowers and expressions of condolences, please go to ( or donations in Richard’s memory to: American Brain Tumor Association, (, would be appreciated.
