Obituary

Marion “Mundt” Heintjes, 71, of Bayville died on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Born in Toms River, she once lived in Pine Beach but, has been a long-time resident of Bayville. Marion had 30 years of service in the Tax Collectors’ Department of Berkeley Township and just recently retiring a year ago. She was predeceased by her parents Matthew and Marion Mundt.

Surviving are her two children, Joseph Heintjes and his wife Stephanie and their son Kyle; and Elizabeth M. Heintjes and her step-son Adam; two sisters, Musiedora Pyle and her husband John and Margaret Pilling and her husband Gregory; Her nieces and nephews, Timothy, Andrew, Heather, Heidi, Gregory and Meredith.

Visiting hours will be from 9AM to 11AM on Friday, July 3rd, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Burial will follow to Riverside Cemetery, Toms River. Due to pandemic, masks must be worn to enter and limited to only 25 people in building at once.

I am so very sorry to hear of Marion's passing. I also worked in the township in a different office. Marion was such a hard, dedicated worker. She was always sweet and pleasant. I am sure she will be greatly missed. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family. She is in God's hands now and may she rest in peace. Sincerely, Bernadine Santucci
