Obituary

David L. Bloomquist, 51, of Charlestown, Rhode Island, formerly of Pt. Pleasant Beach, died on December 31, 2019, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Trenton, he lived in Pt. Pleasant Beach and then to Narragansett, RI before settling in Charlestown, RI. David was a born fisherman and has been a commercial fisherman, from the coast of Maine to Florida, for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his dad, Lloyd, in 2007.

Surviving are; his mother Antoinette; his three siblings, Barbara LaStella, Keri Martis and her husband Greg and Kristofor Blomquist; also, his longtime companion Erin Watson and her son Zane, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for relatives and friends to celebrate Dave’s life will be offered on Saturday, Jan.11th, from 7pm to 9pm, with a concluding prayer service at 8:30pm, in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville.

Oh the many times spent in Point at the Church of the Windy Sea!!!! So much time we spent together, we were family. You guys saw all of our children be born. All the shark fishing trips,Barbara and Kerry's weddings. Our love goes out to you all! So many memories.
