Obituary

Annalee “Ansenhofer” Clayton, affectionately known as “Ooh La La” and “Oma Ann”, 94, of Bayville, died peacefully at home, with her loving family at her bedside, on August 30, 2020. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she has lived in Bayville many years. Mrs. Clayton was a 1945 graduate of Hillside High School. She became a beautician and was a quality control agent at Squibb Pharmaceutical. Ooh La La loved to travel and cherished her visits to with family in Germany. Family was everything to her and she loved family reunions. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Hand & Foot and Canasta. She taught all ages how to play. She also enjoyed her summers spent in Chapin South Carolina. Everyone loved her and her humor. She drew in men who always wanted to dance which she loved to do.

Her last wish was that all family members stay close and to keep in touch with family in Germany. Family is everything, she would say.

Anna was predeceased by her first husband Bruno Scheiber and by her second husband Arron Clayton.
Surviving are her children Heidi “Hawk” Dirnbauer and her husband Ron, Bruno Schreiber, Jr and Michele Schreiber; 9 grandchildren, Elisha Hawk, Ciji Hawk, Brandi Hawk, Russell V. Hawk, Noelani Dirnbauer, Bruno Schreiber III, Samantha Schreiber, Morgan Schreiber and Anton Schreiber; 10 great grandchildren, Jimmy Tuttle, Jr., Summer Skye Corselli, Jaidyn Larson, Triniti Alexander, Talia Hawk, Zariah Hardy, Elizabeth Stubbs, Sereiniti Hardy, Alex Dirnbauer and Chris Dirnbauer. Also survived by her dear friend and daughter-in-law Jimmi Leigh Dirnbauer.

A memorial gathering for relatives and friends will be offered on Saturday, Sept. 5th, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. A prayer Service will conclude the service.

What a privilege and an honor it was to meet Miss Oma. She was always so upbeat and happy that she made everyone around her upbeat and happy. There was always a smile on her face and a joyous greeting whenever we met. Even when her memory began to go it never affected the way she made you feel, like she had been waiting all day just for you to arrive so she could be with you. We loved playing cards with her for hours on end and having her tell us her stories. There is not a person on this earth who ever met her that will not mourn her passing and miss her beautiful smile. All our love to your family, Ellen Bradley, Brad, Stephanie, Whitney and Brett Norsworthy. Tom and Renee Norsworthy and boys.
