Angelo was Uncle Ang to me, my family grew up around the corner from the Vassallo’s and my Mom & Aunt Kitty became friends while Rob, Mike & I were still in baby strollers. I can’t talk much about the antics the Vassallo and DellaMonica boys got into as kids but I can tell you that if any of us got out of line both my Dad (Big Tony) and my Uncle Ang were always there to kick our butt and straighten us out. Uncle Ang was a great friend to my parents, like a 2nd father to me and my brother Eddy, a loving Dad to his 4 boys Rob, Mike, Richie and Ronny and a loving husband to his beautiful wife Catherine (Aunt Kitty). I’m going to miss my visits with him and I’ll always cherish the life lessons he taught me and the respect I’ll always have for him. RIP Uncle Ang and give my Dad a big hug for me. 🙏🏻❤️
