Obituary

Alexander J. Blazejewski Jr., 78, of Bayville passed away on October 3, 2020. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he has been a resident of Bayville since 1979.

Mr. Blazejewski was a Heavy Equipment Operator with the NJ Turnpike Authority for 46 years. He was an avid boater and loved crabbing and clamming the Barnegat Bay. Later in life he was a security guard for INO Truck Terminal in Elizabeth.

He is predeceased by his son Alan Blazejewski and by his daughter Deborah Yankevicz. Surviving are his wife Dolores Blazejewski, his 2 children Robert Yankevicz and LindaLee Yankevicz; his 3 grandchildren Jolene Blazejewski, Jennifer Braccini and Heather Monath; and 2 great grandchildren LilyAnn and Lunella.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 7pm – 9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, NJ 08721.

Funeral will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 9:30am in the funeral home before leaving to celebrate an 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville. Burial will immediately follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

Aunt Dolores, Bobby, Linda, Jennifer, Heather, Jolene, Lily and Luna,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Al. Let those wonderful memories stay with you. I'm sure Daddy was there greeting him at Heaven Gate.
